The Buffalo Barrel is a homage to what we love about producing Australia’s Finest Rum with love, art & science and sub-tropically ageing that rum in select American white oak bourbon barrels.
For over 200 years in Frankfort, Kentucky, Buffalo Trace Distillery has been defined by a dedication to one craft: making fine bourbon whiskey. And during Prohibition, the distillery was allowed to remain operational, in order to make whiskey for "medicinal purposes". Sources of wonder and inspiration to all of our team.

Dense array of brown/burnt sugars, like crème brulee, caramel buttons, banana, pineapple, burnt sugar, fig, dates, toffee and molasses notes. A light spray of roasted corn.
Palate
Dry rich intense flavours of burnt sugars such as toffee, caramel, candy, and textural molasses, chocolate and ground coffee beans into matured dried dates and roasted almonds and cedar, cigar box.
