Notes of dense tropical dried ripe fruits, figs and dates. Hints of banana bread and creme caramel. Australian certified organic molasses, wild yeast, Woombye water. 100% unadulterated.

The Vintner’s Barrel is an incredible rum from an incredible wine maker that said goodbye to over 30 years of award-winning domestic and international vintages and is now very well known as Nil Desperandum Rum’s Head Distiller – Adam Chapman.

Adam’s love of great wine and making great rum combined with the contribution of his great mate Alain Rousseau at acclaimed Tasmanian winery Frogmore Creek - and Alain’s specially selected Pinot Noir French Oak cask that is a note-worthy exception to our house style of American white oak bourbon barrels emptied of sherry and port.

Adam is very proud of the nuanced integration of oak, the red berry characteristics of the wine and of course the exceptional and delicious Nil Desperandum Rum signature ripe tropical fruits, florals and caramels.
